Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission is a recommending body only.  The Board of Mayor & Aldermen is the approval/denial authority.

Meetings

The Planning & Zoning Commission meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Meeting Room of Waveland City Hall. The Planning and Zoning cases then go before the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on the 1st Tuesday of the following month at 6:30 PM. 

If you are the applicant, or the representative for the applicant, please plan to attend both the P&Z Commission meeting and the Board of Aldermen meeting.

Application Submittals are due on the 3rd Friday of the each month in order to be publicized for the Planning & Zoning Commission hearing in the following month. (Ex: 3rd Friday in Jan. for the 3rd Monday in Feb. P&Z Meeting.) If there is a Holiday conflict, the meeting will be pushed back 1 week.
